Riding vacations and short breaks
The following programs offer holidays and short breaks with daily excursions hacking out. For each exists a minimum of 2 riders.

2 days short break El Bosque
This two-day ride takes us in a vast arc around the village of Prado del Rey. We start at the riding stables and head first to El Bosque, the neighboring village 6 km away in the Natural Park Sierra de Grazalema. Picnic with local cheeses and wines at an ancient water mill that has been restored with great attention to detail and works now again with the water power of the river Majaceite.
After the break we cross the river and ride through the pastures of a great cattle country house, where we have a magnificent view of the nature park. Behind the willows again sights on Prado del Rey, this time from the side, and we leave the horses in a paddock at the hotel.
The second day takes us first through olive groves on the mountain pass beneath the ruins of the old Moorish castle Castillo Matrera. The following descent offers magnificent views over the surrounding villages of Bornos, Villamartin and Montellano. At the Sanctuary of Villamartin, the Ermita de las Montañas we have a picnic with Andalusian ham and sherry. The rest of the route takes us across the fields, with a view to the lake of Bornos, back to the riding school. Daily riding time is about 5 and 4 hours.

5 days short break Arcos de la Frontera
Open countryside and the beautiful secluded location of an Andalusian country home is your dream? Then this short week is the correct one: the idyllic farm house Cortijo El Barranco is situated on 450 acres own grounds close to the white village of Arcos de la Frontera, which are available for our rides . In a day's ride we will bring the horses to the hotel, on the following two days we will ride half day each. On the 4th day we will have another all-day ride through fields and a cork oak forest back to the homestead of the horses.
Includes: 5 nights in twin/double room in Hotel in Arcos de la Frontera, spanish breakfast, 4 picnic lunch, 2 full day rides, 2 half day rides

1 week moon shine riding in Prado del Rey
The special idea for full moon weeks in summer: riding with the moon
Start the ride when the evening light turns the fields golden. On horseback, we can admire the vivid colors of the sunset, and return in the cool of the moonlit night to the stables.
During the day, enjoy the sun at the pool and come with us to visit Cadiz on the Atlantic or the White City Ronda.

1 week horse riding and Yoga in Andalusian Cortijo
If you love to ride horses and practice yoga, then this is the holiday for you. We have teamed up with our neighbour Suryalila, which is ideally placed to allow you to experience both activities in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Just an hour from the Andalucian Capital Seville, but nestled in the foothills of the Sierra de Cadiz, Suryalila retreat centre has two dedicated yoga halls and exceptional yoga teachers to sooth those aching bones after an afternoon or day in the saddle.
Each day you can enjoy a featured ride through the Andalucian countryside, one or two yoga classes and the opportunity to join organic vegetarian cooking classes. We offer Vinyasa Flow Yoga as well as more mellow Hatha Yoga and restorative yoga.
There are also massage therapists, around to take care of you after those extra long days. We offer deep tissue, Swedish massage and shiatsu. Excursions can also be organised on the day out of the saddle to Ronda, Cadiz, Seville or the beach.

Two weeks horse riding and spanish lessons
This program is offered in cooperation with the local language academy.
You take your spanish lessons from monday to friday, and on two afternoons per week go for horse riding in the surroundings of Prado del Rey. The weekend is left for the 2 days trail on horseback to El Bosque with picnic in an ancient watermill and aside an ermitage the second day. Quite an experience!

The package includes 13 nights (sunday to saturday) in double room in the academy's shared appartment, standard spanish course, horse riding as described for 740,- € per person.
